Tayloring of molecular materials for organic electronics

Abstract
An example of targeted modification of chemical structure in orderto extent utilisation of diketo–pyrrolo–pyrroles in organicelectronics is presented. The introduction of solubilising groupsopens solution–based techniques for device preparation andtherefore reduces the manufacturing cost. The influence of thesubstitution on the optical activity is discussed.
