One hundred patient samples were gathered. in order to evaluate the levels of glutathione, MDA, and catalase (CAT) in 100 Iraqi patients with obese gallstones and 50 age-matched young adults of normal weight. This was done in order to investigate the effects of antioxidant levels and antioxidant enzymes in obese gallstone patients. The obese and normal weight groups had serum Catalase levels of 1129.7 ng/ml, 1871.5 pg/ml, and 688.6 ug/ml, respectively. The levels of the normal weight group and the obese group were significantly different. Gallstone patients had significantly higher levels of bilirubin and albumin (P UR - https://jbiochemtech.com/article/the-role-of-immunological-and-some-biochemical-variables-in-patients-with-obese-gallstones-in-samar-wnelr1qztdv5ddp ER -
