%X The current male infertility crisis is attributed to the increasing rate of infertility; many congenital and acquired conditions have been recognized, but currently, 70 % of the causes are still unknown despite advances in andrology. Many cases are diagnosed as having unexplained infertility, while a large number are recognized as being idiopathic. A prospective cross-sectional study was held in Mosul city, Iraq, at an outpatient infertility clinic. The study includes 216 males of subfertile couples.
